I used to put myself on a pedestal because it made me feel important and wanted but now it's more reassuring to see myself as just a speck of dust in an entire galaxy filled with things much larger and more meaningful than I would ever be. The more insignificant I feel, the better I am at coping with making mistakes and just doing my own thing. My whole world might be changing, but in the grand scheme of things it could be a lot worse.
