I have a deep respect and love for art and I find album artwork is particular really fascinating.
I decided to share a few of my favourite album artworks. I find it really awesome when artists put effort in their album artwork because music is an art in itself but combined with an awesome album cover, I think it gives another dimension to the music.
As well as that, album art sort of gives me an impression of what the album might sound like.
Not that, that makes any sense at all but I guess it's like the vibes that the album artwork gives me are the same vibes that the album gives me I guess??
I don't know, maybe it's just me but yeah I really love and I'm crazy fascinated by album art.

My heart bleeds for amazing people who are put in horrible situations. The injustice of it all saddens and furstrates me on all levels.

I thought I would post here two quotes (??)/sayings (??) that have been on my mind lately because I've been really able to connect to them.

Be a warrior, not a worrier

Lately I've been extremely anxious and I've been having really horrible dreams. Whenever I've been alone lately and I don't have background noise (music, tv) I just start worrying about silly little things, which is part of the reason why I have been so anxious and why I have been having such negative dreams. I saw this quote and it really hit home because I was suffering from such petty thoughts and this made me realise that I had to become stronger or my life was going to be consumed with really stupid and horrible thoughts and I wouldn't be able to be happy.

For those who read my previous blog, you might remember me posting the quote "nothing lasts forever". This second quote has a similar meaning but I think it's a lot more positive??

This too shall pass
I like this quote because it serves as a reminder that as horrible as your life might seem, this is only a small part of your life. There will be other days, weeks, months, years, so stay strong and persevere. This quote is important to me because it also reminds me that happiness is also temporary, so don't take these moments for granted because they won't last forever. The quote is a reminder that nothing in life is permanent and it simultaneously reassures me but also makes me feel somewhat unsettled. But ultimately it has made me reflect on myself and the way I go about life.

I hope these quotes make you reflect on your own life and help you to overcome any of the troubles that you may be going through as well as remind you of how fleeting moments are in life and to take hold of those moments.

I hope everyone is having a good day and if you aren't, I hope this post will give you a little perspective

Compared to a time before internet, many people were close-minded because there was nothing more than what they already knew. We now exist in a time where we are inundated with information and it's hard to decipher what is right and what is wrong, which makes it harder to determine what we believe. Although many people think that most people take for granted the capabilities of the internet and instead waste time on social media (which I can understand), it is a struggle to look through information that exists online. Information is falsely interpreted or some of it is left out or even blatantly wrong and this doesn't even take in the fact that information gets updated so regularly that, what we might of thought was legitimate a day ago can change to something completely different.

The point I'm trying to get at is that we exist in a time where we are given choices. We are overwhelmed with choices and although many people may think of that as being lucky, which I admit I am completely grateful for, it comes with it's own difficulties. I've always found it easier to be told to do something than to be left to my own devices, because in the end I get nothing done. Maybe it's my lack of independence or drive but it's something that I've witnessed with many people. It's also just a strange situation that people who don't have choices know exactly what they want to do with their lives but people who have so many choices find it difficult to decide what they're doing with themselves. The ironies of life.

This post is based on my own observations and personal experiences.

First of all, I'd like to point out that these aren't so much fears but things that make me anxious. I am an incredibly anxious person and it's so easy for me to list the things that make me nervous
(hence the url)

Meeting new people

Heights

Creepy crawlies

Producing something that isn't of people's expectations

Expressing how I feel

Super cramped spaces

Being late

Getting lost
(new environments)

I'm a huge history geek and the idea of exploring museums all over the world gives me so much happiness. Take me to the Smithsonian Institution or the British Museum or The National WWII Museum or the Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial. There are so many amazing museums out there that display millions of years of history and simply thinking about it fills me with excitement. I could not of a better way to spend my time then to lose myself in the past.
