Sometimes people leave your life so seamlessly, it feels as if they were never there in the first place. When you left I thought the spaces, which you had once filled, would leave me hollow and heartbroken. But instead I found reflections of myself. All different angles, and perspectives but all me. It then occurred to me that the spaces weren't an absence of you, but an absence of myself. The things I lacked in myself, I tried to find in you. An ultimately futile friendship but a lesson learnt. There will always be people who fill the seemingly empty spaces in your life, but in the end only you can complete you.
